Monkey Beach is 7.74 Hectares. Monkey Beach is located on the North end of Jaco.  Appraised at $39 Million, Playa Jaco Costa Rica  is located in the municipality of Garabito, located in the central pacific region Costa Rica within the province of Puntarenas. Playa Jaco is famous for it’s world glass surfing and various out door activities including world renowned sport fishing tournaments from the Los Suenos Marina. The 2009 World Surfing Championship will be held in Playa Jaco Costa Rica  for 10 days during the last week of July and the first week of August. Along with numerous daytime activities Playa Jaco offers an entertaining nightlife. One of the added benefits of Playa Jaco is its location in Costa Rica. Playa Jaco is the closest developed beach city on the Pacific Ocean from San Jose the capital and center of population and business in the Country. Internationally Playa Jaco is accessed via the San Jose International Airport. The current travel time from the airport to Playa Jaco is approximately 2 hours. At the end of 2009, plans are to open a portion of the new highway from San Jose to Caldara, currently under construction, when highway opens to commercial traffic the travel time from the San Jose Airport to Playa Jaco will be less than one (1) hour. The land is currently unimproved (without infrastructure) there are no zoning restrictions. The site can be developed as a residential development, Hotel/resort, condominium development or mixed development.  Jaco is only 10 min from Los Suenos Marriot Resort and Marina , with a 18 hole Golf course.  Directly behind Monkey Beach is the next planned community of Garabu with Arnold Palmer.  Prices have gone down a bit here and there in Costa Rica. We have some special projects .  The banks in Costa Rica have stoped construction financing for many projects.  There are projects that have not been finished and you can come in now and buy at a good price.  We have more.  Note:  Costa Rica is not lined with cities with an infrustructure . The new freeway from San Jose to Jaco is on its way to being finished. Our President is seeing to it. They have parts to finished but now have the toll boths in this month. This will make Jaco the closes city to San Jose with only a 45 min. drive.  The Costricans with Luxury homes in Punta Bocana, Faro Escondido , Playa Escondida, Herradura Bay,  .............they just have not come down on there prices.  The know when the freeway is finished in about year or less, prices here will double.  Jaco is the littlest , biggest city in Central America.  Jaco/Herradura is developed with,  clinics, stores, pharmacys, many hotels, casinos , and more.  It is the most developed city at the beach.
